# 2. Models used in FireBench

This section provides information on models used in the `FireBench`project.
The models are grouped by type:
- Fuel models
- Rate of spread models
- Wind reduction factor
- Uncoupled fire speard models
- Coupled atmosphere fire models

The list of models supported by `FireBench` is given [here](../content.md).

The information pages about models should contain a description of the model, a compatibility table with other models, a validity domain analysis and the results from workflows and benchmarks.
